The event to pay tribute to the Father of the Nation at the MEDASUR includes an artistic intervention using the mapping technique, a non-planar projection system that allows images to be adapted to the architectural shapes and volumes of the building, generating an immersive visual experience.
The artist behind the projection is Amaury Lorenzo, who has previously created similar projects, creating a show for the whole family to enjoy. On this occasion, his work will pay tribute to a hero of the highest stature, General José de San Martín, who died on August 17, 1850, in Boulogne-sur-Mer, France.
The projection includes captions alluding to his figure, and it reads: “His name was love for the Nations throughout South America.” Another section features the phrase “We honor the hero, we value the soldier, and we embrace the man.”
