The credits are intended to strengthen productive projects, services, and social economy in the south of the province. “The provincial government continues to bet on local development and the work of the people of La Pampa. In complex times, we reaffirm our decision to continue supporting those who undertake, to be close, and to strengthen local production,” emphasized Minister Álvarez to the Provincial News Agency.
Álvarez was accompanied by the Secretary of Women, Genders, and Diversity, Gabriela Labourie; the Undersecretary of Social Economy, Graciela Salvini; and the Director of Social Economy, Rodrigo Giraudo; the mayor Jesica Sibert (General San Martín), and the mayor Santiago Goñi (Jacinto Arauz).

In General San Martín, the funds delivered amounted to $8,705,236.05, distributed among the programs for the Development of the Social Economy, Productive Development, and Community Participation. The credits will strengthen sectors such as pastry, party supplies, sewing, rotisserie, pasta production, health, and construction, as well as improve institutional spaces where local workshops and training are held.
Jacinto Arauz #
In Jacinto Arauz, the funds totaled $7,017,251.51, also allocated to the three mentioned programs. In this locality, the credits will support projects in hairdressing, car washing, gastronomy, food production, and personal services, along with the acquisition of equipment for community green spaces.
During the event held in General San Martín, Minister Álvarez emphasized the importance of maintaining these policies in the current economic context. “Like each of the public policies promoted by the provincial government, these initiatives are implemented through the municipalities because we understand that proximity is what makes them more efficient. Beyond party differences, we are united by the same goal: to provide concrete responses to every resident of La Pampa, regardless of where they live,” he stated.
More than 20 years long #
Álvarez emphasized that “these credits for social economy and productive development are part of a public policy with more than 20 years of history, which remains relevant because it delivers results. In complex times, we reaffirm our commitment to continue supporting those who undertake, to be close, and to strengthen local production.”
Sibert #
In the meantime, General San Martín’ mayor, Jesica Sibert, thanked the provincial team for their presence and highlighted the constant attention towards the interior of La Pampa: “There is always a focus on the south to promote these ventures, the development, and the growth that are fundamental for the towns. Dialogue and teamwork with the provincial government are the only way for the people of San Martín to become independent, develop, and grow. We are very happy with this new delivery and with the visit from the ministry,” she stated.
Álvarez valued the joint work with local governments: “Governor Sergio Ziliotto asked us to be close to anyone who starts a new dream, who seeks to generate income or sustain their project. And that is what we are doing: listening, supporting, and betting on the social economy as the basis for provincial development.”
Goñi #
Mayor Goñi also highlighted the ongoing support of the provincial government. “We appreciate the presence of the cabinet members, always willing to help. These programs serve to reinforce the work of local entrepreneurs. We know that the economy is going through difficult times, and these public policies help to sustain households, keep production alive, and maintain hope,” he expressed.
