Today at the Secretariat of Tourism was announced the inclusion of La Pampa in the Route of Rollers (Rodanteros) that extends through various provinces of the national territory. It is the adaptation of 15 options between municipal campsites and other places suitable for the stay of Rodanteros and their mobility options.

The Secretary of Tourism, Saúl Echeveste, was accompanied by the mayor of Winifreda, Adriana García, the tourism representative of the Municipality of Toay, Valeria Manera and other provincial Tourism authorities.

Echeveste referred to the initiative and stressed that “we are launching what is the Route of Rodanteros in the province of La Pampa, where we have 15 destinations and within them is included the town of Winifreda, so I also take advantage again of the support of the mayor. Why is this Route important in the Province or why can it be of interest to the Rodanteros? First because of its strategic location: it is in the center of the country, for its hospitality, for the tranquility of each of the localities, and it is important because the Province is adapting to a new modality of tourism that is making waves in very important destinations such as Córdoba, Mendoza, San Juan and we want to join that route to be able to receive the rollers”

“We are talking with mayors, with the referents who have municipal camping who are registered and who obviously have to have an investment from the provincial government. We are working together with them to try to rise to the occasion and generate for each of the localities”, he added.

“The Rodantero who comes consumes in the town, travels it and also recommends it, they are a group of rolling drivers who are throughout the width of our country and La Pampa is a great destination, that is why we believe it is very important to be able to announce this route and it is the kick-off of a work that we are going to carry out throughout the year 2026”, Echeveste concluded.

The Deputy Director of Tourist Municipalities, María Eugenia Debans, stressed that “this is a new segment, mobile tourism is having a lot of boom in the world and in the country and especially in our Province, which is so benefited in its central location of the country and the most important routes cross us. We have connections with the most populated destinations, so we are in a privileged place to be able to receive them”.

**“This type of tourism -Debans said- is based on very strategic things such as flexibility to choose the itinerary, contact with nature and not depending on accommodation. This new tourism experience is what has made it so much growth in our country, the places that we have registered to be able to carry out the activity in the Province such as: Realicó, Eduardo Castex, Winifreda, Toay, Ataliva Roca, Colonia Barón, Ingeniero Luiggi, Guatraché, Uriburu, 25 de Mayo, General Acha, Bernardo Larraudé and the Lihué Calel National Park,” she concluded.
