As part of the celebration of February 14, Valentine’s Day, the House Museum presents a proposal that combines literature, crafts and a poetic urban intervention. The workshop, which will take place in the Educational Room from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., invites attendees to immerse themselves in the universe of Elena Prado, one of the many names that Olga Orozco used to display her journalistic talent.
Love and chance: “You can’t change it for love” #
Under the title “You don’t change for love”, the activity proposes the reading of texts compiled by the Editorial La Ballesta Magnifica (Pie de Foam collection). After the reading, participants will be able to build cards with a pop-up technique, designed to be given away or “released” randomly in public spaces, celebrating love from a playful and literary perspective.
Olga Orozco: the writer behind the mask #
Between 1963 and 1974, Olga Orozco inhabited a network of identities for Claudia Magazine. This cycle seeks to shed light on that professional work where the poet multiplied herself into more than eight pseudonyms: Valeria Guzmán with the famous sentimental office. Martín Yanez and his sharp literary criticism. Sergio Medina, technical advances and Hollywood stars . Richard Reiner on esoteric articles. Elena Prado and Carlota Ezcurra, notes on social life and childcare. Valentine Charpentier, biographies and literature and Jorge Videla with notes on tango and “masculine” themes.
