Governor Sergio Ziliotto participated yesterday in Expoagro 2026, an event for which the Government of La Pampa has implemented a series of measures aimed at improving the competitiveness of La Pampa’s businesses. Among these measures, sales made by the province’s industries during the event will be exempt from the Gross Income Tax, while loans for productive investment will also be exempt from Gross Income and Stamp Tax.
The Provincial Agency News said that “this initiative is part of a comprehensive strategy that combines tax relief and financing at subsidized rates, with the goal of boosting sales, strengthening production, and sustaining employment in La Pampa within a complex economic context.
As part of this strategy, the provincial government, through the Bank of La Pampa, has an institutional stand at the agro-industrial exhibition, which is being held from March 10 to 13 at the racetrack in the city of San Nicolás, Buenos Aires Province. Twenty-four La Pampa-based industrial SMEs from various sectors are also participating, exhibiting and offering their products to national and international audiences.
Applications submitted during the expo will have access to an initial interest rate of approximately 23% for 30 months and 25% for 60 months, representing a reduction of 13 to 15 percentage points compared to standard rates.
This credit offer also extends to the agricultural sector. Producers will be able to finance the purchase of domestically manufactured agricultural machinery for up to 450 million pesos, with a 25% interest rate over 36 months, through existing agreements under the Commercial Complementary Program.
“With this array of tools, the Government of La Pampa seeks to boost the presence of provincial industry in one of the country’s main production hubs and generate business opportunities that will contribute to strengthening La Pampa’s productive network”, the APN concluded.
“There is no full or fair development except through production and work, Ziliotto said” #
Governor Sergio Ziliotto visited Expoagro 2026 and toured the stands of the 24 companies from La Pampa province present at the event. He highlighted the financial and tax tools that the province is promoting to strengthen productive investment and value-added production at the source.
APN cited that he emphasized that “growth in the interior of the country depends on a more balanced distribution of resources. Without federalism and harmonious development, Argentina will find it difficult to escape a system of wealth concentration.”
The Governor highlighted the role of the Bank of La Pampa as a tool for productive development. “Once again, as we do every year, we have come with our Bank of La Pampa, the public bank, supporting our industrialists. We are doing so with a significant interest rate subsidy and with measures that seek to improve the competitiveness of our companies,” he stated.
In this regard, he noted that the provincial government has decreed that sales made by La Pampa industries destined for productive investment will not be subject to Gross Income Tax or Stamp Tax. “We continue to believe in the country’s growth and development through productive diversification and, primarily, by adding value to our primary production,” he stated. “The country’s development is a collective effort.”
Regarding the national situation, Ziliotto emphasized his position on the need to promote a development model based on production and labor. “There is no full or socially just development without production and labor. Argentina has enormous natural resources, and industry is key to adding value, generating employment, and fostering dignity,” he stated. He also maintained that growth in the interior of the country depends on a more balanced distribution of resources. “Without federalism and harmonious development, Argentina will hardly escape a system of wealth concentration. We need a better distribution, and that is achieved through production and labor,” he indicated.

The Governor also highlighted the province’s economic performance over the past few decades. “According to CELAC data, La Pampa’s economy has grown by 61% in the last 20 years, while the national average was 42%. Even in 2024, with a national decline of 0.4%, La Pampa grew by 1.4%. This is the result of an efficient government that fosters public-private synergy,” he stated.
Ziliotto was accompanied by the president of the La Pampa Investment and Foreign Trade Agency (I-COMEX), Sebastián Lastiri, the president of the Bank of La Pampa, Alexis Iviglia, National Senator, Daniel Bensusán, and National Deputy Ariel Rauschenberger. During the presentation, he also met with authorities from the Confederation of Rural Associations of Buenos Aires and La Pampa (CARBAP), led by Ignacio Kovarsky.
