Invitation to live experimental engraving meeting at the Marta Arangoa space

Within the framework of the exhibition ‘There is no evil that lasts 100 tacos’ by Leonardo Otamendi, the La Pampa’s Secretariat of Culture invited people to participate in a collective action of printing with unconventional tools. The appointment is on Saturday, May 16 at 3:30 p.m., at the Arts Center in Leguizamón’s street.

On Saturday 16 will be held ‘Estampidos de la estampa. Estampa y Estampidos’, a proposal that seeks to capture the visual energy of Otamendi’s work, mixing the meticulous technique of engraving with the strength of its deployment in space. The public will not only be able to tour the exhibition, but they are invited to participate actively.During the day, a live experimental print will be made using everyday and playful elements: from wooden spoons to invented rollers. “It is an invitation to feel how the paper captures the din of the carved wood, in a process where the images seem to come out of their matrices. We do not record to stop time, but to record that something happened here with the force of the inevitable”, the call says.

The encounter will take place on Saturday, May 16 from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., in the Marta Arangoa space of the Arts Center (Leguizamón 1125, Santa Rosa) with tours of the exhibition, exchanges and live printing. Attendees are invited to bring their own wooden spoon to participate in this open and free experience.
