Arts Center | Leguizamón 1125 “Aldo Umazano” Hall, Saturday 4. With a guitarrón, it’s a different story. Reception: 7:30 p.m. with a tasting of regional cheeses and cured meats. Originally from Victorica, Pancho arrives with the intention of interpreting the landscape of the Western Pampas and keeping alive the legacy of the old singers so that their songs are not forgotten. On this occasion, he will present his recent release, “Con guitarrón es otro cantar” (With a Big Guitar, It’s a Different Song), a trilogy of three EPs that portrays the “Cuyo” roots that permeate the western part of the province. Through the use of the guitarrón (a typical instrument of the Cuyo region) and the contextualization of each song, the singer invites the audience to understand and feel the works in a completely different dimension.
With the special participation of Llankas Doradas, the stage will be completed with an interweaving of personal projects by three singer-songwriters. Defined as a musical and vital game, the trio will exchange their songs like trading cards in a dynamic ping-pong of songwriting, with three guitars on stage and carefully crafted backing vocals. Free admission. Those wishing to collaborate with the artists can do so through an alias that will be announced at the beginning of the event.
